We hope to count on your continued support

Dear Friends,

Each year, Capacity Canada relies on the support of our donors and funders to continue with its work that positively impacts people’s lives and helps communities grow.

It’s with the support of people like you, who believe in our ability to foster well-being in our communities, that Capacity Canada has provided the ongoing resources to other non-profits to develop their organizational capacity.

Your gifts make a huge difference in our ability to offer programs, such as the Creative Day for Social Good (CD4SG), that benefit charitable organizations across Canada to contribute directly to our communities’ needs.

This year’s Creative Day for Social Good brought together over 100 students and industry professionals, who volunteered their time and skills, to create free-of-cost marketing tools for charities that did not have a budget to produce these tools on their own.

“We have a minimal marketing budget and currently no in-house expertise to create the marketing material we require. We understand the value of this program, and it’s great to have this opportunity,” said Tenley Soares, who works with the Child Witness Centre, one of the non-profits selected as beneficiaries this year. (You can read more about the 17 organizations CD4SG helped this year here). The program also provides participating students with valuable, real-life work experience.

Our other highly-successful programs, including Manulife Board Governance BootCamp and MatchBoard, among others, support us to provide crucial tools to participating non-profits to enhance their work and reach in their communities.

We are always grateful for our non-profit partners, community leaders and their support and even more so now with the ongoing pandemic. This holiday season, we ask you to once again consider making a donation to assist Capacity Canada’s mission and work.

We hope that your family and friends remain safe. We say thank you for everything you do, and we hope to count on your continued support, especially during these challenging times.
