We offer the tools, resources, and professional support that build strong leaders, spark cross-sector collaboration, fuel knowledge sharing, and inspire social innovation.

MatchBoard Offers Manulife Worker a Fine Fit
Jackie Miller, a Manulife systems analyst, found her calling on the board of SHORE Centre through Capacity Canada’s MatchBoard program. Her lived experience and passion for sexual health made it a natural fit. Volunteering helped her grow personally and professionally while supporting a cause close to her heart.
Parents for Community Living Wins Governance Excellence Award
Parents for Community Living earned the Manulife Governance Excellence Award for its strong board leadership and commitment to transparency. The Kitchener-based non-profit, which supports adults with developmental disabilities, credits Capacity Canada’s BootCamp for helping them grow and improve.
Literacy Network Finds Value in Partnerships
Project READ Literacy Network supports adults and families in Waterloo-Wellington through literacy programs and partnerships. With help from Capacity Canada and the Hallman Foundation, they’re expanding efforts to improve school readiness and break intergenerational low literacy.
Capacity Canada Is Working With TD to Facilitate the Placement of Their Executives on Non-Profit Boards
TD executives are being matched with non-profit boards that align with their skills and passions through the MatchBoard Program. With coaching, research, and training, the program helps leaders grow while making a meaningful impact in their communities.
