New EIR joins Capacity Canada

Bryan Webber, Capacity Canada’s newest Executive-In-Residence, learned about the organization through a mutual friend, Rob Donelson.

Eager to share his experiences and expertise in the charitable sector, Bryan was excited about connecting with Cathy Brothers. While several factors drew him to the organization, he says the first and foremost one was the desire to build healthier communities. “The commitment to making a positive impact on the health of communities in Canada resonated deeply with me. Additionally, I was very impressed with Cathy and her leadership style. I greatly admired her passion for creating meaningful change and her ability to inspire and lead a team,” Bryan said.

A relationship development professional with experience in the private and charitable sectors, Bryan brings to us an extensive background in fundraising and building relations. His career has focused on building long-term relationships that meet his employer’s and clients’ interests and strategic priorities.

“What truly captivated me was the innovativeness of Capacity Canada’s model! The idea of bringing together experienced individuals with leaders in the charitable sector to collaborate on ideas, build relationships, and create strategic plans for the betterment of communities was truly inspiring. This unique approach made me want to be a part of the organization,” he added.

After 20 years as a sales professional in the private sector, Bryan decided to move to the charitable sector in 2002 to “do more than just earn a living.” He joined the YMCA as a fundraising professional. He is semi-retired now and thoroughly enjoys his new role as a grandfather.

Bryan enjoys helping organizations build high-impact visions, donor relationships, and partnerships with the government and the private sector to support them.

While he has several goals in mind, he says his ultimate goal is to help clients build plans and relationships that push their visions forward in new and exciting ways. “I want to be a catalyst for positive change, helping our clients navigate the complex landscape of community development and ensuring that their initiatives have a lasting and meaningful impact.”

We are delighted to have Bryan join our Capacity Canada team! Welcome to the family, Bryan!
