Your support is appreciated

Dear Friends,

Through the year, our ongoing vision at Capacity Canada is to develop organizational capacity that positively impacts lives and well-being of people, to help courageous communities excel.

It’s people like you and your direct support that enables us to assist so many in the charitable sector and their leaders to foster well-being in our communities.

Our highly innovative Creative Day for Social Good (CD4SG) is among the ways we enable many others to directly contribute to success stories across Canada.

In Fort McMurray, Paula Galenzoski was ecstatic in October to see what a team of students and professionals, working together overnight in southern Ontario, could donate to support their Integrated Youth Hub, Canadian Mental Health Association, Wood Buffalo Region.

“I was truly dumbfounded,” said Galenzoski, Project Manager, after seeing materials produced for her group.

“We’d spoken earlier, but the students took a completely blank slate, totally understood our challenge and perfectly hit the target.” (You can read more here about how CD4SG helped 15 groups across Canada).

CD4SG brings together more than 100 students, professionals and volunteers to create graphics, public relations and marketing materials that charities might not be able to produce on their own.

Other innovative programs, such as our Manulife Board Governance BootCamp and MatchBoard, plus newer initiatives like TechMatch and Capacity by Design, help us provide non-profits with tools to enhance their important work.

Through these efforts, we’re extremely proud that our partner organizations have so many tools that they need to provide crucial services to our communities.

We are always grateful for our many non-profit partners, community leaders and their support. At this time we would ask you to once again consider making a donation to assist Capacity Canada’s mission and work.

For everything you do, we say thank you and hope we can count on your continued support.

Sincerely,
