Champions wanted! Children’s Treatment Network (CTN) invites you to apply for a volunteer Board Director or Community Committee Member position.
CTN’s vision is a vibrant community where all kids, youth and families belong. As part of our commitment to equity, diversity, inclusivity, Indigeneity and accessibility (EDIIA), our goal is to foster a governance structure that reflects the communities we serve. We encourage applications from individuals with disabilities, those who identify as Black, Indigenous or persons of colour, members of the LGBTQ2S+ community, those with lived experience as a family member or caregiver of an individual with a disability or developmental needs and those who want to contribute to our mission and achieve our vision.
We are seeking volunteers who are interested or have experience on a volunteer board of directors, align with CTN’s organizational values, will support governance needs and contribute to achieving CTN’s strategic goals. Our board reflects the diversity of communities we serve and includes people with a range of skills and experience.
Expectations:
Board Director
- Three-year term of office
- Volunteer approx. six hours a month
- Sit on a board committee
- Share your leadership, expertise and governance experience at the board level
Community Committee Member
- One-year term of office
- Volunteer three hours a month
- Participate on a board committee
- Share your expertise
- Build or share your governance experience

About CTN:
CTN supports over 33,000 kids and youth with disabilities and developmental needs, primarily in York Region and Simcoe County, and delivers school-based rehabilitation services in Central and West Toronto. We provide intake, service navigation, rehabilitation services (including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech language therapy), specialized clinics and coordinated service planning, assessment and diagnostic services as well as some autism services. Our clients have a variety of diagnoses including learning disabilities, autism, developmental, neurological and physical disabilities.
CTN is a children’s treatment centre funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. Our network operates through partnerships with service providers in the health, education, community and social service sectors. Together with our partners, we work towards making our vision of a vibrant community where all kids, youth and families belong a reality. CTN’s commitment to providing family-centred care is anchored by a shared client record that is accessed across partner organizations and provides the foundation for integrated plans of care and services.
