As CEO, you will collaborate closely with policymakers, key stakeholders, and government officials to accelerate market transformation and build relationships across commercial and industrial sectors. Your ability to inspire and mentor a team, coupled with a proven track record of success in working with built environment, industry leaders on climate, energy, and building standards initiatives, will be instrumental in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Directing the organization in pursuit of its
- Overseeing day-to-day operations, including leading and mentoring local and remote
- Spearheading the development and execution of strategic business plans, ensuring alignment with both short-term and long-term goals, including multi-year budget projections.
- Collaborating closely with the Board of Directors, serving as an effective liaison between the board and staff responsible for implementation.
- Securing and expanding financial resources to support the growth of the relevant programs and
- Fostering an inclusive, rewarding, and non-discriminatory environment for Passive House Canada staff, contractors, trainers, and volunteers, enabling them to excel.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant non-profit governance laws and regulations and enforcing adherence to internal policies.
Qualifications:
- A degree or professional designation, ideally in business management, building design, engineering, planning or law; or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Ability to work in both official languages is a
Experience:
- 8+ years of recent experience leading a team with consistent success in fostering a high-performance culture focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
- Experience identifying prospects and building relationships and successfully becoming the partner of choice with other organizations.
- Demonstrated record of diversifying funding streams and leveraging assets to achieve organizational financial stability.
- Past track record with negotiations, stakeholder relations, and influence with senior political and industry officials.
- Expertise in adult learning principles is an asset

Salary range: $140K – $170K plus incentives
