We request your help

Dear Friends,

Throughout the year, our mission at Capacity Canada is to fuel social innovation with various programs to bring together people, resources, and ideas that help many others across the country.

Your ongoing support enables us to support many in the charitable sector and their leaders to continue to develop necessary skills to govern agencies that create well-being in our communities.

Highly successful programs, like our Manulife Board Governance BootCamp and MatchBoard, plus initiatives like TechMatch, Capacity by Design and Creative Day for Social Good, help us provide tools to those in the charitable sector to advance their vital work.

Our ongoing commitment to excellent board governance continues to support many success stories across Canada.

This fall’s Manulife Board Governance BootCamp, our largest to date, brought together more than 100 participants from 40 non-profit boards to revisit how they govern. We could not deliver such essential training programs without your support.

“Capacity Canada bootcamps have really empowered us and given us the tools we need to accomplish the work we’ve done in the last several years,” said Katherine Loveys, executive director of Parents for Community Living, after their group won the Manulife Governance Excellence Award Nov. 14 at the kickoff for Capacity Canada’s 11th annual BootCamp.

Through these efforts, we’re proud that our partner organizations have so many tools that they need to provide crucial services to our communities where we live and conduct business.

We’re always grateful for support from our many non-profit partners and community leaders. At this time we would ask you to once again support Capacity Canada’s work by making a donation.

For all that you do, we say thanks and hope that we can count on your continued support.

Sincerely,
