That is why were thrilled to welcome Blair Dimock as the newest member of our Executive in Residence (EIR) team.
Blair joins us with an impressive career that spans more than three decades of leadership in the public and nonprofit sectors. Recently retired, he brings deep experience in strategic planning, cross-sector collaboration and governance. He will be bringing so much value to Capacity Canada’s mission.
Throughout his career, Blair has championed strategies rooted in innovation, outcomes measurement, and cross-sector collaboration. He has also introduced leading-edge governance practices to a wide range of Boards of Directors.
Blair describes himself as a seasoned leader with a long track record of success, known for his collaborative, purpose-driven approach to problem-solving. He has played a pivotal role in transforming and advancing the missions of high-impact organizations through strategic partnerships across public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
An exceptional listener, learner, and communicator, Blair brings political, emotional, and media savvy to every challenge. Along with a unique ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver pragmatic solutions in complex, evolving environments.
As an EIR, Blair will serve as a mentor, advisor and strategic partner to nonprofit leaders and organizations engaged with Capacity Canada. He will support governance training, leadership development this includes our Board Governance Bootcamps (there is still time to register), MatchBoard, and more.
This will strengthen our growing network for more passionate, experienced professionals to build an effective and resilient nonprofit sector.
